Westmill Solar Co-operative Shortlisted for a Community Energy Award

We are very pleased to share that Westmill Solar has been shortlisted for the 2024 Community Energy Awards.

At the beginning of October, Westmill Solar Co-operative announced that it was part of the the first-ever cross-border co-operative investment in Europe, in partnership with energy co-ops from Spain, France, Belgium and the UK.

At the same time, Westmill Solar applied for a Community Energy Award in the Advancing Innovation category regarding our work with REScoop.eu MECISE. An annual awards event hosted by Community Energy England, the Community Energy Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements in community energy. We look forward to updating members about our application following the Award Ceremony on 22nd November and wish good luck to all other finalists.
