Both Westmill Wind and Westmill Solar Co-operatives are members of Energy4All (E4A) and rely on E4A for administrative support. E4A is the UK’s leading social enterprise in the delivery of community owned renewable energy schemes.

Low Carbon Hub

Low Carbon Hub Oxford is a pioneering social enterprise that’s out to prove we can meet our energy needs in a way that’s good for people and good for the planet. Westmill Solar works with the Low Carbon Hub to deliver Community Energy Assessments.

Your Co-op Energy

Your Co-Op Energy is part of The Midcounties Co-Operative. They offer the Community Power tariff; the only tariff supplied entirely by community energy projects just like ours, and they work with Westmill Wind and Solar to deliver the Trading Dividend.

REScoop.eu

REScoop.eu is the European federation of energy communities. Westmill Wind and Westmill Solar are both members of REScoop.eu.

 

Community Energy England

CEE is a not for profit organisation who provide a voice for the community energy sector and help to create the conditions within which community energy can flourish. Westmill Wind and Westmill Solar are both members of CEE.

REScoop.eu MECISE

REScoop.eu MECISE is a consortium of established energy co-operatives developing projects for renewable energy and energy efficiency. Westmill Solar is the first co-operative to receive funding from MECISE.

The International Cooperative Alliance advocates for the interests and success of co-operatives, providing a global voice and forum for knowledge, expertise and co-ordinated action.

Ethex

Ethex is a not-for-profit organisation which helps everyday people make ethical investments that fund extraordinary organisations. Until 2022, Ethex was the management organisation for Westmill Solar Co-operative. Ethex is the bond registrar for Westmill Solar’s bondholders.

Younity

A joint venture of Octopus Energy and the Midcounties Co-Operative, Younity work with Octopus Energy to purchase the electricity that Westmill Wind and Westmill Solar export to the grid, through a PPA.

Octopus Energy

Octopus Energy is a British energy company which supplies green energy to their customers. Both Westmill Wind and Westmill Solar Co-operatives have their Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Octopus Energy, organised through Younity.

Midcounties Co-op

The Midcounties Co-Operative operate Your Co-op, a family of businesses owned by their members.

The Climate Coalition

The Climate Coalition (TCC) is the UK’s largest group of people dedicated to action on climate change and limiting its action on the world’s poorest communities.  Westmill Solar was the first co-operative member of TCC.

Fair Tax Foundation

The Fair Tax Mark accreditation scheme is the gold standard of responsible tax conduct, bridging the gap between corporate responsibility and the wider tax justice movement. Westmill Wind and Westmill Solar Co-operatives are both Fair Tax Accredited.

National Trust (Coleshill)

Dating back to the Doomsday Book, Coleshill, home of the Heritage and Rural Skills Centre, is a rural place of innovation, swathed in history.  WeSET has previously hosted events on site.
