WeSET is excited to announce that it has teamed up with Offshore Wind Learning (OWL) to offer access to an adult course and a set of learning materials for schools in offshore wind.

Supported by leading organisations in the energy sector, the adult OWL course consists of 8 modules, within 29 interactive lessons and is designed to be around 30 hours of study. The course concludes with an exam and certificate on completion. Modules include Development, Project Design and Engineering and Commercial and Finance.

Students benefit from access to support whilst studying, as well as reduced fees for membership of Energy Institute and free initial membership of Institute of Marine Engineering (IMarEST)

School resources explore subjects such as how offshore wind farms work and why renewable energy is so vital. These are available to download for free from our website.

Students over 16 or adults who are interested in undertaking the adult course can find out more about the course on the OWL website.
