Sustainability Support

Climate change and sustainability education is recognised in the Department for Education's Curriculum and Assessment Review as one of five key areas of applied knowledge and skills which require particular attention if the curriculum is to prepare learners for a changing world.

The latest curriculum review makes it clear: sustainability is no longer optional. Primary schools are expected to embed climate and environmental learning across subjects.

Complimentary Assistance for Local Schools

We offer free support to schools across Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and beyond. Whether you're just starting out or already leading change, we're your go-to resource for:

  • Teacher CPD – twilight sessions, INSET days, online briefings
  • Curriculum resources – ready-to-use materials aligned with national frameworks
  • School visits – inspiring trips to Westmill Wind and Solar Farm
  • Workshops and assemblies – tailored to your learners and context

We know how hard it is to release staff for CPD. So, we can come to you. That's why we've designed flexible options based on feedback from recent successful Sustainability Lead Workshops:

  • Twilight CPD at your school (4–6pm)
  • Half-day or full-day INSET on sustainability and curriculum change
  • Online staff briefing for interested team members

Everything we offer is free. Thanks to our charitable funding and partnerships, all our support is provided at no cost to schools. We can also help you access government grants to fund sustainability initiatives, such as:

We'd love to hear from you. Whether you're curious, committed or somewhere in between, please get in touch.
