Mike has over 30 years’ experience in renewable energy and passionate about building the net zero future. He was one of the founders of WeSET in 2009 and is also on the Board of Westmill Wind Farm Cooperative, which he helped to found in 2004.

Mike is a chartered engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers with an MPhil and an MSc from Cranfield University. He is a wind consultant who has provided consultancy to wind developers, financiers, UK and other Governments, research enablers and large energy users. He is greatly interested in wind turbine and related technology, advancing the wind supply chain, taking floating wind global and increasing local content through cooperatively owned energy projects.
