Laurie is a Maths graduate and CIMA-qualified accountant with over 20 years’ experience in finance, spanning industry, financial services, and renewable energy.

Laurie began her career at James Fisher and Sons plc, where she spent 18 years progressing to the role of Finance Manager, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning in a complex, international business. She then joined the Furness Building Society as Treasury Manager, where she managed liquidity, investments, and financial risk within a highly regulated environment.

Today, Laurie is proud to work as a Senior Accountant at Energy4All, supporting community-owned renewable energy projects and she is passionate about using her expertise to contribute to sustainable growth and ethical finance.
