Fair Tax Mark awarded to Westmill Wind and Solar
Westmill Wind and Solar are proud to announce that they have both been awarded the Fair Tax Mark – for the third year running!
The Fair Tax Mark recognises those organisations which demonstrate a commitment to fair, honest and transparent tax reporting beyond their legal and statutory obligations. It shows that they approach their tax affairs in accordance with both the spirit and the letter of the law, as well as being open about profits which have been made and taxes which are paid.
It is an exclusive award, with only 275 organisations currently accredited by the Fair Tax Foundation.
Tom Parkinson, Chair of Westmill Solar explains why the cooperatives are so pleased to receive the award:
As cooperatives, we work hard to weave the seven cooperative principles into our everyday operations. Receiving the Fair Tax Award recognises that Westmill Wind and Solar go the extra mile to manage our tax affairs as openly as possible, in accordance with the cooperative principle of transparency and honesty. We are thrilled to receive this award again this year.
You can find more information about our Fair Tax Mark award on the Wind and Solar pages.
